This is the 14th and final title in the 'Walking in Yorkshire' series of Paul Hannon's popular walking guides, finally completing coverage of the county. A range of enhancements see a more logical geographical spread, in this case featuring a large tract of North Yorkshire reaching from LowerWensleydale and Lower Swaledale to the Cleveland Hills. This group of walks stretches from the edge of the Yorkshire Dales, across the Vale of Mowbray centred on Northallerton, to the edge of theNorth YorkMoors. Thewalks include themarket towns of Leyburn, Thirsk and Richmond, and such iconic locations as Middleham, Osmotherley, Jervaulx Abbey and the Cleveland Hills.

In addition to being far more visually appealing than their predecessors, with the use of colour throughout and a more modern house style, these new titles feature a lower cover price than the old series. This book provides 25 previously unpublished outings set amid a rich variety of scenery. A collection of over 60 colour photographs depicts features and landscapes along the walks, while the concise route descriptions are fully complemented by a wealth of background information.
